HY to hold special Leap Day Event

5-member band HY will hold a live performance 'HY’s PARADE ~Leap Day “4年に一度の”Premium LIVE~' at Shibuya's Space Shower TV The Diner on 29th February. The event is a special tribute to their hit song '366 Nichi' which was the theme song for the drama and subsequently movie version of 'Akai Ito' which starred Mizobata Junpei and Minamisawa Nao.

Akai Ito was composed by member Nakasone Izumi, as a heart-rending love song to paint emotions which cannot be contained in a mere 365 days. In a message to fans about the live, she said, "For you who are in love, for you who has just ended a love, and for you who will fall in love, there will always be unspoken feelings you wish to convey to someone. On this day, for '366 Nichi', why don't you send out those feelings to someone precious to you?"

The event is limited to 366 people who have experienced 'a broken heart'. Tickets cost 3660 yen apiece, which includes the live performance and dinner and can be obtained from the official site through a lottery. The event will also be streamed on Nico Nico Live.

Stylist Onu-san and Keita-san discussed on the perfect silhouette for Mao-san.
It's really cute. Even the bracelet was hand-made.

The completed outfit had such a beautiful silhouette, it's gorgeous.
Keita-san and all the staff, thank you very much!

Kouhaku Outfit 4

Thank you for the many entries submitted when we requested for a Kouhaku Outfit Design.

Everyone's entries were carefully looked over.
I was given the privilege of choosing from so many entries but on the day itself, because of time constraints, I could only give a short introduction so once again...

The design I chose.
Actually, I didn't have the confidence to wear something so cute
The message that came with the design,
"The sakura is the symbol of Japan. I hope for the warmth of spring to arrive soon and for us to feel the spirit of revival."
A powerful, touching message.

Personally, the sakura is one of my favourite flowers.
On stage, there were so many sakura, and to be wearing something inlaid with it is happiness.

So, I wore the dress.
When I heard Yuming-san singing '(Minna no) Haru yo, Koi' I wished for the arrival of spring from the bottom of my heart.

The painstaking effort to reproduce the detailed design was completed just in time before the big day by designer Noda Akira-san.
He has worked on costumes for many popular artistes but for this project, it was a collaboration.

For the one who thought up the design, Sonoda-san, designer Noda-san and all the staff members, all of you have my gratitude.
Thank you very much.

The 3rd outfit was a beige pink sequin dress.
It was a simple design but entirely sequined, so on stage it looked all sparkly. Beautiful!!

She changed into this outfit before the 'Ashita wo Utao 1' Corner!
As Akikawa Masafumi-san and Natsukawa Rimi-san sang 'Asu To Iu Hi Ga', videos and photos of Mao-san visiting a baby born on 11 March were shown on the background.

The theme for this corner was 'Hope'!!
The outfit was filled with hope that tomorrow would sparkle.
For the hairdo, the braids were undone!!
