After watching the broadcast of KinSuma today, I felt that I had to write and I'm bypassing my agency to write this blog.

First of all, the LINE content published by Shukan Bunshun is all true.
And when I first send the FAX out to say that Becky and I were friends, that was a lie, it was a romantic relationship. I am truly sorry for lying. Until the divorce, we said we would be friends. I couldn't see around me, actually I wasn't thinking about how anyone else would feel. I caused sorrow to both of them.

Trampling my wife's feelings and bringing Becky back to my parents' home was also my decision.
I am deeply sorry to my wife and Becky.

Then, the comment I made about 'who I should apologise to'.
That was not meant for my wife, Becky, the fans and the people concerned.

I meant that for the people on the internet who were making cruel remarks. Everyday, thoughtless comments like 'Die' and 'Disappear' appeared on Becky's as well as my SNS. I couldn't stand it anymore.

But there was nowhere for me to say that, and I was not in a position to even say it. In the end, more misunderstanding was caused. I regret my childishness.

And, why did Becky cease all activities while I did not?
There is no other reason besides there are fans waiting. I could not betray the people who came to listen to the music.  It may look like I'm just glossing over the matter, but there's nothing more I wanted than singing what my members and I have created. It may be selfish of me but that is the reason.
I was mulling over what I could say when 'Ryouseibai' album came out but there was nothing else for me to do but that. For fans to enjoy themselves, that is the most important, and that thought has not changed.

I had an affair with Becky and tormented my wife with my betrayal. Furthermore, I caused a lot of trouble to the members, staff, the people concerned, my fans and Becky's fans. I am truly sorry.

For what I have written, and in this timing, I am sorry.

From now on, we will face the fans fully with our music, indigo la End, Gesu no Kiwami Otome. Together we will do our best. Thank you.

Yamamoto Koji reveals how he got Horikita Maki to marry him

On August 24, Yamamoto Koji (38) gave an interview on Fuji TV's morning news program 'Tokudane!' detailing the 6-year journey from the time he met Horikita Maki (26) to their marriage on August 22.


They first met while filming for 2009 spring drama 'Atashinchi no Danshi' and he said he was taken in by her mental strength although she was only 20 or 21 years old at the time. He asked for her number and got it, but it was the number for her agency.

In 2010, they played husband and wife in 'Wagaya no Rekishi'. He was impressed with her strong skills as an actress and also charmed by how reserved she can be at times. On the last day of filming, he invited her out for drinks with everyone but she declined.

Horikita Maki's Fanclub to close down by the end of the year

Horikita Maki's agency, Sweet Power, is closing down her fanclub in December 2015. In its notice, the agency thanked fans for their support in the last 10 years the fanclub has been running. Applications for membership were still accepted until July 31 at 6pm. Sweet Power denies that the decision had anything to do with her marriage announcement to Yamamoto Koji and that the decision was made before her intention to marry.

Horikita Maki announces marriage to actor Yamamoto Koji

Horikita Maki (26) and actor Yamamoto Koji (38) are married. They submitted their marriage registration on August 22 at a ward office in Tokyo via a proxy. She is not expecting and will continue working. They first got acquainted 6 years ago while filming for Fuji TV drama 'Atashinchi no Danshi' but only grew closer when they played lovers in stage play 'Wuthering Heights' this year.

According to some sources, they began dating in June and started living together in early August. Below is a statement by Horikita Maki through her agency, Sweet Power, to the media.

This is a personal matter but I, Horikita Maki, married Yamamoto Koji-san on August 22.

Please forgive me for announcing this in written form in such a sudden manner.

I made acquaintance with Yamamoto-san 6 years ago through work but it was when we worked together in the stage play 'Wuthering Heights' that I was charmed by his character. We wish to live our lives together from now on and the next step is marriage.

We are still inexperienced but from now on, as always, we seek your guidance and encouragement.

Ito Hideaki to marry a non-celebrity

Ito Hideaki (39) is getting married tomorrow. He will register his marriage to a 31-year-old non-celebrity on 24th October, the date of her parent's wedding anniversary. In a signed statement to the media via his agency on 22nd October, he describes her as a former company employee not in the entertainment industry who he has been dating for a while.

In August, there were rumours of Ito's imminent marriage to a divorced former model with a child, someone he had known for 6 years. According to his agency, she is not the one he is marrying but declines to reveal more as she is a non-celebrity.

According to other sources, Ito met A-san, a former flight attendant, in June this year at a mutual friend's wedding reception and it was love at first sight. He met her parents to discuss marriage around summer. She is not expecting and there are no plans for a wedding ceremony or reception.

Nakama Yukie marries actor Tanaka Tetsushi

Actress Nakama Yukie (34) and actor Tanaka Tetsushi (48) are married. They registered their marriage on September 18. The couple first co-starred together in 2003 Fuji TV drama 'Kao' but grew closer after meeting again in 2007 TBS drama 'Joshi Deka!'. Nikkan Sports first reported of their romance back in 2009. She plans to continue work as usual.

Blind items, or as they call it 'initials talk', on TBS program 'Akko ni Omakase!' which aired on 31st August. The items came from people who have worked for years in the entertainment industry and gossip magazine journalists.

Inoue Mao and Matsumoto Jun Why the leaks now?

An industry insider comments on why after several years of a rumoured relationship, media outlets have only recently begun to report on them, with even photos being published.

"Inoue is playing the lead role in NHK Taiga drama Hana Moyu which starts next year. To avoid scandals while it is on-air, the marriage will have to wait for a year at the very least. Being the main breadwinner of the agency, they will not give her the green light so easily either. On the other side, Matsumoto is in Johnny's leading group, Arashi, and marriage is out of the question for the moment. A definitive photo that cannot be explained away though has already been taken by a weekly magazine and using that as a bargaining chip, it has led to to the situation now where to a certain extent the media is allowed to report some news. The two of them though are twisting this to their advantage. As the flow of information little by little becomes established fact, they hope to convince their respective agencies. When it comes to marriage, essentially doing it by force via a shotgun marriage is the most effective way. However the two of them are professionals and will not resort to that. The time for marriage will probably come as they watch the response from fans and the media."

This week in Shukan Bunshun :- What does Inoue Mao like about Matsujun?

Shukan Bunshun (28 Aug 2014 issue) reports on a conversation that supposedly happened at a gathering among acquaintances, between Inoue Mao and an actress she looks up as an older sister.

Mao: At first I was actually closer to Ikuta-san.
Senpai: (Matsumoto and Ikuta) Both of them are good-looking, so how did you end up with the imakare?
Mao: *Blushing* Imakare... He was persistent.
Senpai: What do you like about him?
Mao: That he's smarter than me.

The film insider who recollected this conversation said that Matsujun's name was left out so as not to tip the other people around but Mao's amusing reaction to the term 'imakare' (イマカレ commonly used to mean a current boyfriend as opposed to motokare, an ex) was cute. The insider went on to mention that it was charming to find that Mao, who herself is sensible and intelligent, looking up to him. Then the topic of marriage came up, and the senpai, who is married, asked about Mao.

Senpai: You're not getting married?
Mao: I've been told by the people around me that I can play more roles precisely because I'm not, so it's better this way. But I think it's great that Yu-chan is having a baby. It sure is nice how she's getting on to have that mama look.

Reporter: Plans for marriage soon?
Mom : No. Anything to report? Not at all (*laughs*) She's filming for a Taiga drama and has to be in Kyushu for a long while.

Reporter: 2 years more to when she's supposed to be married, at 29 years old.
Mom : That would be ideal but I don't think she has thought that far yet. I'm not the one to decide this and that so I leave it up to her.

Reporter: Does Matsumoto-san drop by your house?
Mom: Of course not! That would be too obvious and there will be a big fuss (*laughs*)

In an interview in Shukan Bunshun's Genshoku Bishojo Zukan (29 Nov 2012 issue), Inoue Mao had said jokingly,"When I went to see fortune tellers in Hong Kong and the Masai tribe, both said I would get married when I'm 29. That can't be a coincidence so I think I will be at 29."

Mizobata Junpei comments on romance rumours with Katase Nana

This time, my personal life has caused a fuss.

As is reported, Katase-san is my senior in the entertainment business. We bonded over discussions about work and have become close friends.

However, the foremost priority in my life now is work so this differs greatly with a part of the reported news.

From now on, I will still face work with passion and give my full concentration every day to being an actor.

According to Nikkan Sports, while both Katase Nana (32) and Mizobata Junpei (25) denied being romantically involved after they were photographed together last summer, they have started to open up about their relationship to the people around them this year. It has gotten serious enough that the topic of marriage has been discussed. Mizobata reportedly told a friend in March that he had always dated older women and that it seems he can't like anyone else. He also mentioned that he was currently dating someone quite a bit older than him. An industry insider claims that there is no doubt the two are dating and while it doesn't look like marriage is in the cards because of his young age, it might change if things continue as they are. Nikkan Sports also claims that while it is unclear when they had started dating seriously,  Katase has also revealed their relationship to her close friends and have talked about marriage and children.

Katase and Mizobata met on the set of '35-sai no Koukousei' early last year. They hit it off and even after filming ended, they were still meeting up. Josei Seven caught them on an izakaya date last July but both parties denied anything other than a senpai-kouhai relationship then. Reached for comment this time, Katase's agency gave a similar response as before, that they have been told he is one of her close friends.

FRIDAY catches Ikuta Toma on a date

It was about 1 am in the morning. At a street crossing near Naka-Meguro Station, Ikuta Toma (29) was spotted wearing a cap and glasses. Beside him was a petite female wearing a mask. They chatted as they crossed the street, heading towards a dim alleyway. He casually reached for her hand and they walked hand-in-hand, eventually linking arms.

They seem to be heading to a deserted park after their dinner date at a Japanese restaurant earlier, where they had spent about two hours. They continued chatting there, and laughter could occasionally be heard. After a while, they started walking again, out of the park towards the main street. He flagged a taxi but only she got into it.

Friday catches Inoue Mao on a late night date with Matsujun

After the stage greet of her movie 'Shirayuki Hime Satsujin Jiken', Inoue Mao went back to her home in a quiet residential area in Tokyo where she lives with her parents. Three hours later, at about half past 10, Inoue Mao, clad in a hat, mask and glasses left again. Looking about around her, she got into a taxi. A few minutes later, she got off. It seems like she had abruptly received a call. Maybe she was looking for her destination, but as she looked at her phone, she was walking this way and that. She finally ended up at an exclusive yakiniku restaurant that came with private rooms. It was close to time for last orders, but she went in without hesitation. There was a reason for her to be vigilant although she was out late at night with hardly anyone around and this was because it was none other than Matsumoto Jun that was waiting for her inside.

At 2 am, it was two hours past closing time and the entrance was already locked for the night. The lights were already switched off. From the exit used by staff, out came Inoue Mao. Beckoned by an employee who was keeping a lookout, she got into a taxi by herself and headed home.

Five minutes later, out came Matsujun in sunglasses. With him was Ikuta Toma. Likewise, they got into a taxi and headed to residential areas.

Yuji marries on Valentine's Day

Actor and model Yuji (26) is a married man, and soon to be a father of two. He registered his marriage on Valentine's Day. His wife, a non-celebrity older than him, has a son from a previous marriage. She is expecting and their baby is due in June.

Happy New Year! Maotsujun's first story for 2014

Shukan Bunshun (16th January issue) reports that a magazine had snapped shots that definitively proved a romance between Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao last November but the article was not published and replaced by an Arashi spread. A weekly magazine writer commented that with Mao starring in next year's NHK Taiga drama, it was her side that was more concerned with its publication and under pressure from Johnny's Jimusho, the story never made it to print. As a result Mao's agency now owes a big favour to Johnny's.

This article from Shukan Bunshun was Jun's part of its Arashi secrets. The others are Sho being irritable during Kouhaku because he couldn't smoke, Nino's miserly lifestyle despite living in a luxury apartment and Aiba's Porsche plate number having something to do with his girlfriend. No mention of Ohno.

The alleged Maotsujun couple ring.

This surfaced sometime back but I had time to look it up a little more today.

Might be similar rings. Looks like a ring from the Boucheron Bridal Collection.

There is a Japanese Boucheron website as well, and it costs  ¥143,850 (US$1466). In its description - 明るい輝きで永遠の愛を祝福するリングです。 Akarui kagayaki de eien no ai o shukufuku suru ringu desu. A ring that celebrates eternal love with its radiance.

Maybe Shukan Josei had this in mind when they allegedly had the scoop of a super popular idol getting married.

By the way, the first episode of Hana Yori Dango aired 8 years ago today, 21st October 2005  ( •ᴗ•)

Matsumoto Jun spotted at Inoue Mao's stage play 'Miwa'.

Shukan Josei (which will probably sponsor their marriage when the time comes) reports that Matsumoto Jun attended the opening day of 'Miwa', a stage play which Inoue Mao is in. The play opened on 4th October at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.

He was wearing a black hat, glasses and a cardigan, seated in the section reserved for officials and staff members. Next to him was actor Kasahara Hideyuki.

A little about Kasahara Hideyuki. Kasahara is Oguri Shun's junior in talent agency Tristone Entertainment. Matsujun and Kasahara grew closer after co-starring in 2010 drama 'Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku'. Before that, they had actually at times met at Oguri's home but Matsujun had no idea that he was an actor until they were cast together. Kasahara has been close friends with Mao since she was in junior high. They have co-starred in dramas Juui Dolittle & Tokkan and the movie Shazai no Ousama. It seems he often gets teased by Mao during filming. Looking up recent entries in his blog, a staff member posted a photo of him and Mao on 7th October but it's probably a shot from the time of Shazai no Ousama as there's no mention of 'Miwa' at all.

Shukan Josei went on to say that after the performance, Matsujun went backstage to meet with the actors including Eita, who he co-starred with in 'Lucky Seven'. On seeing Mao, Matsujun said "Here are the cakes," and handed over a paper bag with enough for the 40 or so staff members and actors. Mao said,"Yeah, thanks" and proceeded to give them out. The article highlighted how familiar they are together, like they are a married couple already. And that's about it.

There's no mention anywhere of the word 'marriage'. The only mention of Arashi is how the 5 trees in Hokkaido where they filmed their JAL CM has become a tourist attraction.

Maotsujun outed by a blog post?

Mizobata Junpei caught on a date with Katase Nana

Katase Nana (31) and Mizobata Junpei (24) have been caught on an izakaya date by 'Josei Seven'. The tabloid published a few shots of them together in the 8th August issue out today.

The popular pub they were in serves casual fare and has a cosy atmosphere. It is frequented by regular customers. "Most of the customers know each other so everyone was having a good time drinking but the two of them only had eyes for each other. And when they talked, they whispered to each other. Both of them were good lookers so everyone was wondering who they were," remarked a regular customer. The two of them split the bill after their meal and left in Katase's car, with her driving.

Katase and Mizobata got to know each other while filming for the drama '35-sai no Koukousei'. A staff member recalled their relationship during filming.

"Katase-san is the refreshing older-sister type. She got along well with Mizobata-kun who has an older sister. Katase-san loves soccer and the outdoors and lately has been into barbecuing too. Mizobata-kun has been heard saying how cool she was, being so active."

This is actually not the first time Josei Seven has caught them together. In mid-June, they were seen shopping together at Don Quijote. About 10 days later, they were caught again shopping at Isetan.

"I noticed a tall and beautiful woman and realized it was Katase-san. She was peering into the changing room and talking to someone. I was surprised to see it was Mizobata-kun!" said an onlooker.

Contacted for comment, Mizobata's talent agency Ever Green Entertainment stated,"She is one of the actors he works with in the drama, and they have a good senpai-kouhai relationship. He sought her out for advice regarding work."

Katase's agency, Ken-On stated,"We were told that he is one of her close friends."

Katase had also been spotted before on an izakaya date with KAT-TUN's Nakamaru Yuichi.
