Seiyuu Yoshino Hiroyuki to debut as a singer

Seiyuu Yoshino Hiroyuki will make his debut as a recording artiste  under record label 'Kiramune' this summer. Yoshino, also known as Yocchin to his fans, started voice acting in 1996. He is no stranger to singing but only in character before this. With him on board, Kiramune has expanded the roster of voice actors under its label. Also under Kiramune are Kamiya Hiroshi, Irino Miyu, Okamoto Nobuhiko, Kakihara Tetsuya, Namikawa Daisuke, KAmiYU (Kamiya Hiroshi & Irino Miyu), CONNECT (Iwata Mitsuo & Suzumura Kenichi) and Trignal (Eguchi Takuya, Kimura Ryouhei & Yonaga Tsubasa).

OLDCODEX reveals album title and jacket

The next album from OLDCODEX is titled 'CONTRAST SILVER' and will be released on 26th December. The song 'Heaven', produced by Inoran will be used as the opening track for TV Asahi's Break Out and the ending theme song of Ehime Asahi TV's Love Chu! Chu! in December. This will be their first release after RON quit the band in October, leaving members Ta_2 (Suzuki Tatsuhisa) and YORKE.

Mizuki Nana on Nico Nico Live to promote 28th single

Mizuki Nana will be on Nico Nico Live on 25th July to promote her 28th single 'BRIGHT STREAM' which will be released on 1st August. The full PV for the new song will also be aired for the first time. This will be her first appearance in about a year on the live streaming program since last August when she was promoting her 25th single 'Junketsu Paradox'. The live streaming starts at 10pm on 'Mizuki Nana no niconico STREAM'.

Suzumura Kenichi sets up own agency

Seiyuu Suzumura Kenichi, who left his talent agency Arts Vision in April, has set up his own talent management agency INTENTION. There were rumours that he would be joining AXLONE, but it seems Suzumura has bigger ambitions than that.

The official website for his new agency opened on 1st May with introductions by Suzumura and his long-time manager, Kuwahara Atsushi. Both will serve as joint acting directors of INTENTION. Suzumura writes that approaching the 18th year of his work, he is delighted to challenge himself to something new. As for the meaning behind the name, he states that everything the agency does, will be done with precise intention.

Seiyuu Suzumura Kenichi no longer with Arts Vision?

Seiyuu Suzumura Kenichi (D.Gray Man's Lavi, Daily Lives of High School Boys's Yoshitake) is rumoured to have left his talent agency, Arts Vision and gone freelance. His name is no longer listed in their roster. His Biscuit Cafe Blog under Morinaga which started in October 2008 was last updated by him on 27th March and by Morinaga staff on 30th March. The staff thanked everyone for their support and offered a limited-time download for a screensaver program developed in collaboration with Suzumura. The blog will then close down at the end of the download period, 27th April.

Kimura Ryo takes on lead role in 'Ao no Exorcist' stage play

Kimura Ryo will take on the lead role of 'Rin' in the stage play adaptation of Katou Kazue's manga 'Ao no Exorcist'.  Totani Kimito is playing his twin brother 'Yukio'.
The play will run from 11th May to 17th May at Nihon Seinenkan. Tickets are priced at 6500yen.

Sakuraba Nanami faces difficulty as a Seiyuu

On the 21st, actress Sakuraba Nanami (19) attended the opening day stage greetings for the anime movie '.hack Sekai no Mukou ni' at Tokyo's Theatre Shinjuku. She takes on the lead role as the voice of the main character. Even though it is her second time working as  a voice actress, she made more NGs than first time voice actors Matsuzaka Tori (23) and Tanaka Kei (27). She revealed, "It's difficult to match my voice with the character's mouth movements during recording. In the next role, I hope to get one where the character isn't human and has no mouth."
