Ito Hideaki to marry a non-celebrity

Ito Hideaki (39) is getting married tomorrow. He will register his marriage to a 31-year-old non-celebrity on 24th October, the date of her parent's wedding anniversary. In a signed statement to the media via his agency on 22nd October, he describes her as a former company employee not in the entertainment industry who he has been dating for a while.

In August, there were rumours of Ito's imminent marriage to a divorced former model with a child, someone he had known for 6 years. According to his agency, she is not the one he is marrying but declines to reveal more as she is a non-celebrity.

According to other sources, Ito met A-san, a former flight attendant, in June this year at a mutual friend's wedding reception and it was love at first sight. He met her parents to discuss marriage around summer. She is not expecting and there are no plans for a wedding ceremony or reception.

Ito Hideaki sweats over...

After strenuous scuba-diving training for Umizaru and skydiving for Coca-Cola, what would make Ito Hideaki break out in cold sweat? He was trending on Twitter a few minutes ago and it turned out he was on Fuji TV's variety program 'Tunnels no Minasan no Okage deshita'. He and table-tennis Olympic silver medalist Ishikawa Kasumi had a face off in the 'Kuwazugirai' corner where each chose 4 dishes beforehand, 3 favourites and one they dislike and the other has to figure out which one it is after seeing each other sample the food.

Ito Hideaki flinches from his 3rd dish, kusaya.

Ito Hideaki plays Sky Football for Coca-Cola

Actor Ito Hideaki joined a team of professional skydivers to play football 3600m above the ground for a new Coca-Cola Zero commercial, 'Wild Sky Football'. Filming took place in California at the end of July.

Ito, who had to scuba-dive in the series 'Umizaru' talked about the similarities to this new challenge. "The feeling of suspension in both activities is very similar. And of course both are sports with a certain amount of danger, so they're similar in that way too. I think getting used to skydiving is a little more scary than scuba-diving but that makes it even more enjoyable."

To commemorate the 5th year since its introduction, Coca Cola Zero has also made changes to its packaging. The CM started airing on 15th August.
